Cycle Roster

Cycle

The roster below belongs to this cycle. The starred one is active: its planner board feeds the kiosk schedule, and badge scans are recorded against it.

Kiosk rules

How badge scans are judged, by the server clock (Chicago time). One check-in a day: a scan by the clock-in cutoff plus grace counts as on time; later is late.

Attendance spreadsheet

The Google Sheet national reporting reads. Scans flow into it automatically every 15 minutes (via the bridge script in the clock-in Apps Script project) — this link keeps it one click away. First time? The setup wizard walks through it.

Roster workbook — where the full names come from

Interns appear on the attendance sheet under the full name this workbook gives them, matched to their check-in record by email, or by name when there is no email column. It is only ever read — nothing is written back to it, and the attendance sheet keeps the same rows in the same order either way. Share it with sheet-bridge@bright-crossbar-506114-s5.iam.gserviceaccount.com (Viewer). Leave the link empty to go back to check-in names.

Interns

Laptops

One press checks an available laptop out to every intern on this roster who doesn't have one, due back when the cycle ends. Real serial numbers only — asset-tag placeholders never go out. Machines with a completed device report (software inventory included) are dealt first; the rest follow, flagged so you know which still need their report run. Then print a name-and-email label for each assigned machine.

Add an intern

Name first, then click the badge field and tap the badge on the reader — it types itself. Email is optional and can be added or changed from the roster later. Nothing is added until you press the button (or Enter with everything filled in). The badge is the same card the inventory uses for laptop checkouts.
